Welcome to the Violence Prevention Research Lab website!

Our team is located in the School of Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  The lab is directed by Dr. Rachel Garthe, Assistant Professor of Social Work.  We study the development and prevention of dating violence/intimate partner violence, bullying, cyber-victimization, stalking, sexual violence, and other forms of violence during adolescence and young adulthood.
